This position may be part-time or full-time, depending on the needs of the business and the abilities and interests of the team member. Flexible scheduling is available. Some Saturdays are required each month. Other opportunities, including the possibility of limited work-from-home for select tasks, may be available.

Communication & Customer Service
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong verbal communication skills in person and over the phone
- Ability to communicate clearly through email, text messaging, social media, and other written formats
- Professional and courteous attitude with customers and coworkers
- Patience and conflict-resolution skills when handling difficult situations
Technical & Retail Skills
- Basic math skills
- Ability to use computers, tablets, point-of-sale systems, and cash registers
- Ability to learn store software systems and repair tracking systems
- Understanding of retail products and services
Hands-On Skills
- Ability to use basic hand tools
- Ability to safely use basic power tools, including:
Electric screwdrivers/drills
Dremel tools
Small grinding and sanding tools
Physical Requirements
- Ability to work for extended periods
- Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Primary Responsibilities
The primary focus of this position is assisting customers, providing excellent service, and supporting daily store operations.
Responsibilities may include:
Customer Service & Sales
- Greeting and assisting customers
- Assessing customer needs and recommending products or solutions
- Answering phones and taking accurate messages
- Processing payments and handling transactions
- Helping customers travel better through product education and recommendations
- Working toward sales goals
Store Operations
- Cleaning, organizing, and restocking the store
- Setting up displays and merchandising inventory
- Assisting with inventory counts and stock management
- Preparing online orders for shipment
Repair Support & Technical Work
- Assisting with repair intake and customer communication
- Supporting repair work, including:
Small mechanical repairs
Hand sewing
Machine sewing
Leather work - Coordinating repairs with outside contractors
- Researching and ordering parts and supplies
- Finalizing repairs, preparing invoices, and notifying customers
Additional Responsibilities
- Learning and developing new skills
- Creating live or recorded presentations when needed
- Assisting with social media and email communications
- Running errands, making deliveries, or obtaining supplies
- Attending conferences, schools, or training opportunities when possible
- Completing timesheets and bonus/incentive paperwork
- Assisting with other duties as needed

Education & Preferred Experience
Minimum Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Ability to read and write English
- Basic computer and smartphone/tablet skills
- Basic math proficiency, including:
Addition
Subtraction
Multiplication
Division
Percentages
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in any of the following is a plus:
- Retail or sales experience
- Speaking a foreign language
- Photography Videography
- Hand or machine sewing
- Leather work
- Social Media Experience
- 3D printing or related technology
