Shipping Policy

After receiving your order confirmation email, all orders are processed within 1-3 business days. (excluding weekends and holidays, especially Christmas
Typically, we try to ship on the same business day for orders placed before 3:00 p.m., when the item will ship from our main store. Items marked as ONLINE ONLY are filled from one of our warehouse fulfillment centers, and this will take 2-5 days.
Shipping time to any location varies depending on the distance, the carrier and the selected shipping method chosen at checkout. The most dependable shipping is UPS or FedEx.). You will receive another notification when your order has shipped.
Once shipped, we can not control delays for the shipping companies for any reason.

Items ordered as Special Orders or shipped from our Direct Ship warehouses may experience a 2-5 day delay in shipping. Custom Items: Items that require framing can also be delayed due to the required processing.

Traveling Bags is not responsible for deliveries made to addresses provided incorrectly. We are also not responsible for packages addressed and shipped correctly that are lost or delayed by the shipping companies. We assist and do all we can, but ultimately, once shipped, it is the shipper's responsibility to deliver the package.

Domestic Shipping Rates and Estimates

For calculated shipping rates: Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout.

Local Delivery

Local delivery Shipping is available at a special rate only for addresses within an approximate 15-20 mile radius of Traveling Bags (see map) which includes all of Milwaukee and Waukesha Counties and slightly further in some cases. these are not delivered by USPS, UPS, or FedEx, but by other means, sometimes on the same day.

Shipping for all other orders is calculated based on size and weight.
There will be options for you to select. We will always ship the most economical way while getting your items to you in the quickest, most efficient way possible. At times, this may be shipping directly from a manufacturer's warehouse if it is closer and more economical.

Deliveries are made from 8 am and 7 pm on weekdays. We will contact you via text message with the phone number you provided at checkout to notify you on the day of our arrival.

In-store pickup

You can skip the shipping fees with free local pickup at our storefront

After placing your order and selecting local pickup at checkout, your order will be prepared and ready for pick up within 1 to 2 business days. We will send you an email with instructions when your order is ready.

Our in-store pickup hours are anytime during our regular hours.
Mondays - 9 am to 5 pm
Tuesdays - 9 am to 5 pm
Wednesdays - 9 am to 5 pm
Thursdays - 9 am to 6 pm
Friday - 9 am to 6 pm
Saturdays - 9 am to 3 pm
Sundays - Closed
